Can You Fight Off or Defeat Multiple Attackers?

Hey Folks, LtCol Al here,

Probably about as far back as I can remember when it came to fighting nothing captured my imagination more than seeing the hero in a movie take on multiple attackers. Growing up in the 1970s in the heyday of Kung Fu movies me and my friends were all about these movies.
Who could ever forget the legendary fight scenes from Bruce Lee’s movies where he would handily take on multiple attackers and vanquish them with relative ease? Or the Toshiro Mifune movies where he was Hell unleashed with a sword.
These movies set the standard and made way for the current crop of action movies like some of the more recent fight scenes against multiple attackers from movies like “John Wick” or “Atomic Blond”?

And who can forget the insane fights scenes in the movie “The Raid and Redemption” which is one of my favorite movies which shows some awesome and very realistic looking brutal fights.

Whoever choreographed that movie knew what they were doing because they got the ugliness of real fights especially against multiple attackers down to a science.
But… as we all know, those were just movies and as much as they are pure escapism and great entertainment at the end of the day they are just that, movies.
For reality is a cruel mistress and unforgiving.
Folks, dealing with multiple attackers is one of the most difficult situations and biggest life threatening challenges you could face in a self-defense situation.

The Reality

While a lot of systems teach you how to deal with single attackers, knives, guns etc., many martial arts systems don’t even address multiple attackers.
Mainly because they intuitively know that their systems of fighting make taking on multiple attackers a non-starter right off the bat.
Some martial arts instructors have even gone as far as saying, “…well no one really has an answer for multiple attackers.”

What!?!

If that’s true, then what’s the point in training for self-defense?

And why would anyone want to train with someone who thinks this way?

I know I wouldn’t.

Now… you also have all sorts of so called experts writing books on how to deal with multiple attackers in many cases offering a check list of things to remember. That by the time you get halfway through the list of things you’re supposed to remember, you could already be dead.
My friend in most cases it’s just you or your loved ones where you have to sum up the situation and make a decision to fight with everything in the blink of an eye.
Also and make no mistake about this, there’s a reason the bad guys rely on safety in numbers, you know why?
They don’t want to get hurt either!
You see whether or not you’re perceived to be a hard target the bad guys know enough to bring back up.
Even in nature this is true thus, even hyenas don’t hunt lions alone...

Now, while you see it in the movies and for the most part, people write it off as fantasy fighting. Understandable, but the truth is there is a way to train this life saving skill and it’s not super-double-secret-probation Ninja Magic.
Or some other nonsense promising death touches and the like, but real skills that you can learn in a short period of time but most important of all skills that can save your life.
So what is it worth to you to learn how to move like the wind and strike like a cobra?

More than just teaching you how to move and strike you will develop the proper mindset, the level of ruthlessness and perfect clarity so sum up what must be done in the blink of an eye and take action to crush all those before you if necessary.
On Saturday, February, 8th 2020, I’ll be conducting a Workshop at Warriors Way Combatives in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ where I’ll be training on how to deal with and fight off "multiple attackers".

If you want to learn this life-saving skill, then you need to get there!

When: Saturday, February, 8th 2020
